The band was tight, J Drew Sheard was on the drums, Alex Ward was on the Keyboards, And the had this horn sections who were second to none!!!. and of course they had a bass player and another keyboard player, (Don't know there names) and of course a big ole Hammond B-3 sitting up there awaiting Twinkies arrival.. The background singers (3 of them) was really nice, Angel Chisholm was one of the singers, I don't know the other 2??

So The recording was very laid back, It was not like a service. There was no opening prayer, scripture, and Praise Team/Opening Act. The girls just came out with no Introduction and they que'd the music and they came out looking so lovely, Someone made a comment that Karen and Dorinda looked like The White Chicks (Marlon & Shawn Wayans).... , No seriously they looked extra white, with there blondish/lite brown hair... They looked stunning though!!!

I'll leave it up to the women like Phebe or someone to talk about what they had on

Karen Was in Excellent Voice, she aired the place with her Cystal clear range and effortess runs....

Dorinda was clearly really rested up for this event, because she too was also in excellent voice and had a wonderful clear range, I don't think I ever heard any of her infamous sqeeks. and she really was laid back, and was the comic relief for the night. She was all over that stage cracking and making jokes, and it put everyone at ease, because we were still heated at the standing in line and inside, but her wit and the beauty of those girls just put us all at ease.

The stage was beautiful, kudos to the Gospel Channel network for putting this all together, the recording will be of high quality and a must buy. No we didn't do alot of shouting and screaming and dancing and tongue speaking because it was a laid back atmosphere, They could have even served us some refreshemnts it was so laid back!!! but the Spirit of the Lord was truly in that place once the girls got to singing there songs which we are about to list:

2. Blessed and Highly Favored - (Karen was a beast on This Song)

3. He's Birthing Something New In Me - (Twinkie did here thang)

4. Instrument - (wonderful even without Blanche on the tenor part, Twinkie handled it with ease, You Houston recording folk know what I'm talking about)...

5. You Heard My Cry

6. I tried Him And I know Him - (Just a verse and line, then Karen did some scats and runs and growls and comissioned Dorinda to go into Mattie Moss Clark Mode and sing it like momma would, and Dorinda did her thang and it was a Joy!

7. In Thy Holy Will

8. Name It Claim It

9. God Understands All - (Jackie did a great Job on her two songs vocally wise, much better than in Houston)

10. Angels Watching Over Me

11.Looking to Get There (Heaven) - was one of the highlights on the evening, Dorinda took this song and worked our Nerves, The Place was rocking at this point.. (A couple of retakes due to them not getting there choreography right)!

12. Pray for The USA - was done great. No, Twinkie did not Kill like in Houston, we needed Donald Lawrence There!! But she did minister at the end of the song.

13. Jesus In A Love Song (karen Ate this song up)

14. You Brought The Sunshine

That's all folks so hopefully Like I was told they are still gonna use some footage from Houston
on the other songs not performed like "My Redeemer Liveth" "World", " For The Love of The People", "I Wont Let Go" "Is My Living In Vain", and the other ones I fell to mention....

The outfits they had on was nice, there hair looked really nice, Twinkie was looking stunning , I would say she is loosing weight, you could really tell it in here face

Funny Moments
Dorinda all night long :...... Loved her, would love to see her and Vickie Winans Hosting something together!

Twinkie cop'd a few minor attitudes which were justifiable, She could not read the Telepromter and all becuase they would not let her wear her glasses during the recording, so they would start songs and she be like unh unh stop, What are we about to sing yall I can't see! We died

A fight almost broke out between Jackie And Dorinda... Jackie was doing some make up touches on Dorinda's face, then before she was finished she took both her hands and squeezed Dorinda's Cheeks really hard til we almost felt it in the audience, Dorinda's instant reaction was almost to slap her, and she almost did, She was not happy with that and she told jackie in her Ghetto Talk, "Girl you almost got Slappt'd"

The girl who was really acting like the producer of the set was really good in handling the crowd and the girls, I applaud her.

One of the background singers during one of the retakes started to sound like a baby crying or something and we were looking around like who is that? It was funny!

They did do a costume change must better looking than that purple Head of Lettuce they wore in Houston!!

Got a chance to meet more people from this board which was really nice. Greg we gonna put you over the meet and greet Department!!!

We finally were walking out at around 6:30

Overall, great Studio Set and recording and I am looking forward to purchasing it when it comes out!

Oh one more thing, they did have a choreographer who was a FEMALE and she was on the floor dancing in front of the girls so they would watch her to kinda remember there moves, and of course it was cute but a lil more practice would not have hurted them! Jacky seems to never get here moves right!

Twinkie stayed at the organ for the entire set, She did however come from behind the organ and to the for front with the girls on her song, "He's Birthing Something Within Me"
