Clark Sisters Live in Charlotte Recap

I had the pleasure of attending the concert in Charlotte, NC featuring The Clark Sisters...It was a great time.... After some very wonderful acts...My favorite was Christopher Gray and Favored....The sisters Jacky, Dorinda, and Karen minus Twinkie....came out dressed in red to "I Like Living this Kind of Life"....They did the thang....Karen and Dorinda traded licks...after that Dorinda admonished the crowd and joked and even seen a fan with a Clark Sister shirt on and asked her to give her a kiss...the girl and her crowd was geeked....The next song they did was "He's Birthing something New" written by Twinkie....They really sang this song...and I've grown to LOVE IT!!!! Karen really sung the lick "He's Birthing an Anointing" She sounded so sweet on that part....After they did a reprise and Karen really talked high of Twinkie...you can tell she really loves and honors her sister...she told the crowd to really pray for her sister because God is not through with her yet...she said there is noone like a Twinkie Clark....she said all the songs she's written has gotten many of us through many tribulations and trials....Karen really spoke highly of her sister..I enjoyed that....Next was Jacky with Angels....It was good...Jacky was hoarse on her part but really let loose on the vamp....The sisters sounded excellent on that.....Next was Looking to Get There....Of course they showed out....That hook and groove had us going....Then they did Blessed and Highly Favored and of course Karen showed out.....Finally it was You Brought the Sunshine!!!That was it....They sounded great, looked great!! I guess they had to get to Memphis cuz' it was short and very sweet...But they did awesome!! I was disappointed that there was no Twinkie but they made do....Janae and Gabby sang background....University Park Baptist doesn't look as big as it does on Twinkie's video....but it's a nice church
